Multibond All Purpose Silicone is a one-component, high-performance industrial grade, acetic cure silicone sealant formulated for glazing and sealing applications where long-term reliability is required. It has resistance to weathering, UV radiation, vibration, moisture, ozone, temperature extremes, airborne pollutant, and many cleaning detergents and solvents. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Applications Tips

General Glazing:
Glass, fiberglass, plastic, aluminum, and most painted and powder-coated materials.

Curtain Wall Sealing:
Glass, Metal, Granite, and plastic

General Sealing: 
Sheet Metal, skylights, ventilators, and air-conditioning, are ideal for glass sealing applications like aquariums.

Direction For Use

1. The surface must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, grease, oil, or water.
2. The surface should be cleaned with alcohol, M.E.K., or other suitable solvent. Soap or detergent and water treatments are not recommended.
3. For a neat finish, apply masking tape and remove it before the sealant has skinned over.
4. Cut the nozzle at a 45º angle to the desired width and apply it to the substrate with a cartridge gun.
5. Tooling time is 5 minutes, and tack-free time is 15 minutes.
6. Uncured sealant can be cleaned up with mineral spirits.
7. Use approved backing material for joints over 10mm deep.

Safety and first aid directions

1. This product emits Acetic Acid whilst curing. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and mouth.
2. Use in a well-ventilated area. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water immediately for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
3. Remove contact lenses before using the sealant.
