Water Tank Accessories: (1/2″) Float Valve – Hasky

• Based on a simple yet effective operating principle, Hasky horizontal float valves are quick and easy to install ensuring a constant water level is maintained. Hasky’s versatile valve range is designed to handle the most demanding domestic, commercial and plumbing applications.

Application :

• Agriculture: Stock troughs and water tanks.
• Plumbing: Hot and cold water storage tanks for domestic and industrial applications

Industrial:  Dishwashers and hospital sterilizers.

Standards and tests :

• Hasky range of horizontal float valves are designed to comply with BS 1212 standards and have undertaken a range of tests to ensure they comply with BS1212 standards.

System design considerations :

• Threads: All threads are BSP (Whitworth form).
• Maximum Operating Pressure: 1400 kPa (200 psi) or 14 bar at 20°C.
  Operating temperature: Connection is cold water (less than 20°C) rated. However the brass and stainless steel valves can be used in an environment where the water is subsequently heated to 95° C in a tank. In these cases a hot water rated float must be used.
